A Vocal Music Performance By Mrs. Manjiri Vaishampayan

Mrs. Manjiri Vaishampayan: A well-known Hindustani classical and semi-classical vocal music artist from Chicago. Trained by renowned artists Bakul Pandit in Natya sangeet and later from her Guru, Shrimati Dhondutai Kulkarni, who is the only disciple of Surshri Kesarbai Kerkar.

Manjiri’s learning was in typical Gurukul tradition, and she followed the famous Jaipur Atroli gharana style of vocal music. She has been awarded the prestigious ``Sur Mani'' award by Sur Singar Sansad in India. In U.S. she has performed at public concerts in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and in Chicago. She will present semi- classical songs, Natyageet, Bhavgeet and duets.
